Adventures on the Saltflats and Coloured Lagoons

At 9:30 a.m. departure to the indigenous community of Colchani, observation of the elaboration of iodized salt in rustic form, salt crafts, entrance to the white deserts in their fullness, typical landscapes of extraction such as salt pyramids, salt eyes and first salt hotel, now local museum.  Lunch on the banks of the salt flat in front of the Thunupa Volcano, then ascent by vehicle to the first viewpoint where we hike until we reach the pre-Columbian chullpares caves. Descent and visit to Incahuasi Island with a 40-minute walk to Plaza 1 de Agosto where we observe the salt flat at 360 degrees. Return to the shores of the salt flat from where we watch the sunset accompanied by a cocktail, accommodation in the salt hotel. MEALS: LUNCH, LUNCH AND DINNER. HOTEL: PALACIO DE SAL OR SIMILAR

After breakfast we leave at 9:30 am visiting the train cemetery, authentic villages such as San Cristobal and its colonial church, Culpina K and Villa Alota. From here we can enter the Valley of the Rocks, we continue through the Devil's Canyon, Turquiri lagoon place with many birds, visit to the natural viewpoint of the Ollague volcano (active), Cañapa lagoon and finally Hedionda lagoon. Walks along the shores of this lagoon, in which you can appreciate the three varieties of flamingos just a few meters away. We continue through the Charkota lagoon and the Honda lagoon. Arrival at the desert hotel, accommodation and overnight.

Departure at 07.00 am visiting the Honda and Charcota lagoons, the Siloli desert and the Stone Tree. Once inside the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve we will see the Colorada lagoon, geysers, hot springs, the Dalí desert, the green lagoon and the white lagoon before returning to Uyuni visiting the rock valley. Arrival in Uyuni at approximately 18:30 pm.
