Tayka Route – Quick UYU-SPA

At 08.00 am departure to visit the train cemetery. We continue to the indigenous community of Colchani with observation of the elaboration of iodized salt in rustic form and salt handcrafts. Entrance to the white deserts in its fullness with typical landscapes of extraction such as salt pyramids, salt eyes and the first salt hotel now local museum, continuing towards the Incahuasi island, typical place with the presence of giant cacti in a habitat of volcanic rock. Visit to the community of San Juan, natural viewpoint of Ollague volcano (active), Cañapa lagoon and walks around the Hedionda lagoon where you can appreciate flamingos at a short distance. We pass by the Charkota and Honda lagoons, accommodation in the stone hotel.

Departure at 06.00 am to the desert of Siloli and the Stone Tree. Already inside the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve we will see the Colorada lagoon, geysers, hot springs, Dalí desert, the Green lagoon and the White lagoon. Transfer to the Chilean border Hito Cajón, change of vehicles and continue the trip to San Pedro de Atacama. (trip of 01 hour approx.)
