Uyuni: Explore and Discover

Traslado desde el hotel San Pedro de Atacama hacia Hito Cajón frontera con Bolivia 8:30 am hora chilena (desde San Pedro de Atacama 01 hora de viaje). Ingreso al Parque Nacional Eduardo Abaroa, visita a la laguna Verde, desierto Salvador Dalí, aguas termales, géiseres sol de mañana, laguna Colorada y árbol de piedra, Atravesamos el desierto Siloli; arribo al hotel del desierto; acomodación y pernocte.

At 08:00 hours departure from the hotel: On the way we will visit Honda lagoon, Chiarkota lagoon, Hedionda lagoon, with a walk along the shores of this lagoon, in which you can appreciate the three varieties of flamingos just meters away. Then we will visit the Cañapa lagoon, viewpoint of the Ollague volcano. We continue visiting the valley of rocks, formations product of volcanic eruptions and the Anaconda canyon. Then we will pass through the towns of Alota, Culpina, San Cristobal with a short walk through the village. We will visit the train cemetery and transfer to the town of Colchani. Accommodation in the salt hotel.

Departure at 09.30 am. On the way we visit the indigenous community of Colchani with observation of the elaboration of iodized salt in its rustic form. Entrance to the white deserts in their fullness, typical landscapes of extraction such as salt pyramids and salt eyes. Photographs on the salt staircase built with salt blocks. Visit of the first salt hotel, now a local museum. Lunch in the middle of the salt desert. In the afternoon visit the Incahuasi Island, a typical place with the presence of giant cacti in a habitat of volcanic rock, where we walk along a marked path until we reach the top where we appreciate a panoramic view of the salt flat, later we take photographs and videos with perspective. On the shores of the salt flat, we will observe a sunset accompanied by a coca cocktail.
